Introduction :

          The 1st GISTDA SPACE CAMP to be held in Space Krenovation Park from 2 – 6 May 2016. Nowadays, Space Technologies play an important role in our daily live but the opportunity of learning Space Technology for the youth in Thailand is still difficult to access the device. Therefore, Space Inspirium was established as a place of inspiration to the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology for Thailand’s youth.  It can be said that this is a new era of learning space technology in Thailand. In order to further promote and encourage the usage of Space Technology and Geo-informatics to resolve the problem, GISTDA determined to held the GISTDA SPACE CAMP#1 during 2 – 6 May 2016. The main purpose is to provide opportunities for youth to learn and understand the process of Geo-informatics and Space Technology by specialized lecturer.

 

Objective :

  1. To improve the knowledge and understanding of Space Technology and application including the role of THEOS on the exploration and protection of natural resources.
  2. To encourage the youth to use their free time wisely and learn to work as a team with the selfless and generous to others.
  3. To achieve the idea in the creation of space technology innovation and can be adapted in education and environmental issues in their own communities.

 

Target :

30 persons  (12-14 years old)

5 days  (2 – 6 May 2016)

Lecturer :

Lecturers from the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency. (Public Organization) or GISTDA.

 

Registration fee :

4,500 Baht

GISTDA is a Thai space research organization. It is responsible for remote sensing and technology development satellites.   In order to enhance the utilization in remote sensing and GIS, GISTDA was established on November 3, 2000 as a public organization which assumes all responsibilities and activities for space technology and geo-informatics applications.
